Happy New Year

Today we welcome 1st January 2017, a new year and a new day. I love the new year, it's a fun time of the year for me. The days are spent all day on the beach, the nights filled with bonfires and fun times with the friends that you met along the way. It's also the time of year when people all over the world set their resolutions for the year.

The new year marks the school holidays and the freedom that we have before school begins for the year and we're told to be more studious and serious. 2017 is my final year of high school and I'm looking forward to the year and what adventures it will bring along with it. It will be a year of hard work but is nothing to be afraid of. Take the new year in your stride, believe in yourself, chase your dreams and take the world by storm in 2017.
