I have always loved the story of The Nutcracker. I've been enchanted by it since the day I watched the Barbie version of the classic tale. I used to listen to the beautiful music by Tchaikovsky to fall asleep at night, while giving me sweet dreams of the ballet.
Since I was a little girl I have been very privileged to have been able to watch the ballet of the nutcracker performed by various companies including The Australian Ballet and The Russian Ballet at beautiful theatres. Each time I watch a performance I always feel as though I am being transported to another world as though in that moment nothing else mattered nor even existed.
This season Disney has debuted a retelling of the classic tale, The Nutcracker and The Four Realms. The Grounds of Alexandria Sydney has partnered with Disney to bring The Nutcracker and The Four Realms to life, transforming their garden grounds into the four realms from the film. The Four Realms are the The Land of Snowflakes, The Land of Flowers, The Land of Sweets and The Fourth Realm The Land of Amusement.

It was a magical experience that captures the fun and imagination of the film as well as creating perfect displays to get you into the Christmas spirit as well as making for the best instagram photos, every angle of The Grounds is a perfect photo opportunity.
Christmas is a crazy and busy time of year but it was a magical Christmas experience at The Grounds, Christmas vibes were in the air for all to enjoy and travel through The Realms of The Nutcracker.
