This is my recipe for Earl Grey Biscuits
This post is also in combination with my YouTube video featured above where you can watch me making this recipe.
Ingredients
- 125g butter
- 125g castor sugar
- 250g plain flour
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- Earl grey tea
Set Oven to 160°C
Step 1
In an electric mixer beat the butter and sugar until light and creamy in colour and texture
Step 2
Add the egg and vanilla extract and beat into mixture
Step 3
Sift the flour into the mixture to turn it into a dough, add in the tea
Step 4
Knead the dough and wrap in glad-wrap and put it into the fridge for 30mins
Step 5
Dust the surface/bench the dough will be rolled on with flour and roll the dough to desired thickness suitable to cut Christmas shapes
Step 6
Cut out Christmas shapes with cutters (I used bells, angels, gingerbread men and Christmas trees)
Step 7
Place biscuits on a baking tray lined with baking paper and cook for 10-15mins until light and golden brown.
Let the biscuits to cool and you are finished with lovely and tasty Christmas treats.
